Dear Customers

We would like to inform you about the incident that occurred on the 27th of January 2025, which impacted specific functionalities of our platform. Below, we provide an overview of the incident, including its root cause, duration, and current status.

Incident Overview:
On 27th January 2025, from 08:26 CET to 09:19 CET, our endpoints https://api.pci-proxy.com/v1/pull and https://api.pci-proxy.com/v1/push were affected and were not able to perform tokenizations and detokenizations during that time.

Root Cause:
The incident was caused by a firewall change implemented by our technology partner, TCS, as part of preparations for the upcoming network migration. This change inadvertently disrupted the functionality of the impacted API endpoints.

Duration (53 minutes):
Start of impact: 27th January 2025, 08:26 CET
End of impact: 27th January 2025, 09:19 CET

Current Status:
The issue has been resolved as of 09:19 CET on 27th January 2025. The impacted APIs are now fully operational, and we are actively monitoring the system to ensure continued stability.

The TCS network team is actively collaborating with the firewall vendor to identify the root cause of the issue and establish the proper procedures to prevent its recurrence in the future. In the meantime, all similar changes have been temporarily placed "on hold".
